Drupalcon Barcelona the stuff i kinda promised...

I have said it before and im gonna say it again you - yes you- ROCKS! \m/
4 day of drupal geek heaven once again were supercool, informative, productive and most of all fun - meeting all the old drupals from sunnyval & brussels, and a bunch of new were as always cool, and this time I was actually stupid enogh to open op my fat mouth and take some responsability.

But just to sum op some of my highlights and all the stuff ive kinda promised ... gotta learn to STFU...

Panels 2

A bout 8 months ago some prick were bitching on earl (merlin of chaos), bout documentation and views and panels, i wrote something behind my ear, that we should make a beer for code program... With that in mind i actully brought with me from top notch danish microbrewery . i hope you like em Merlin.
And now to the conclusion Merlin is my hero!
Panels 2 are gonna solve sooooo many of the design ideas i have for a drupal backend theme, that im just gonna lean back and wait for mighty Merlin to do his stuff - so when is it done? ;)

Theming

Drupal 6 and theming is gonna be a really cool step forward.
And ive kinda put my self out there to create some documentation for the photoshop junkies / designers, so we might gonna get more designers, and themes commitet to drupal.org. After merlins presentation we actually gather a group of theming geeks so lets se if we cant get that documentation together. So Maybe the theme development group is actully gonna get som activity ;)

Roel actually promised me to create a dropbox thingie for us that dont understand cvs so we can get the themes up there.

The talk afterwards was really good so the future is looking bright

Image handling in core

Walkah talked about that one... And I dont know what actully happend but while Walkah were talking i was hit be the holy drupal ghost or something... Cause suddently i could here myself speek and saying that i would do all the wireframing from an users perspective - Yeah i dont give an ratts ass if an image is a node or a file or a thingie or a fooblooadabidabada - I just want the stuff to work (the geek army of drupal is gonna figure that out - im not gonna use my pretty little head for that). So actually after the Barcelona - Lyon game (3-0) i didnt went out and got pissed with my princess no i went home and brainstormed for 2 hours did a bunch or sketches, so after loads of talks with people at the drupalcon i think ive actually got something that might work as a good platform for a qualified discussion of how images should work.
-The slides is done in a coupple of days so mr Walkah fire up you engine were going in.

Scandinavia

my count was: 5 danes, 2 swedes 1 norwegian.
We talked bout joining forces an maybe throw together a weekend of drupal stuff... Actually Bert bortland overherd that me and joakim were talking bout doing a geek cruise from copenhagen to oslo and back, and is trying to hold us up on that .. I dont think we actually would end up doing anything else than getting shitfaced but it would be fun though.

Icons

I did a lightning presentation of my icon modul. It still needs some love, but the main thing is to get all the icons done for somekind of official release.
Ive hooked op with yoroy and were gonna kick some pixel ass - please join us :P

Sex Drupal & Rock n Roll

After hearing around i figured out that im gonna set up a spreadshirt.net shop and create some Badass-non-geeky-sex tshirts to impress the ladies and make the boys drool.
Hopefully create some money for the association - i just have to figure out if my ass is gonna get kick with the tax system here in dk. - And well figure out a way to get the stuff overseas to the yanks.

I even got my drupalbook signed - how cools is that?
