typekit is awesöme
so this is just a quick guide to get the typekit to work on you drupalsite, cause theres some small problems:
First get an account
I got my 5 invites and they are already claimed :/ - but now that i pushed mine to other drupal nerds i really hope that they send em further down the system to other drupal "frontender(s)" - yup were kinda trying to kill the term "Themer"
oooh well if you got the invite then youre one of the cool kids and yadi yadi (so it anyone @typekit reads this - please send me more invites - my twitter account got kinda full last night when i posted out that i got em)
Add the magick to you page.tpl
Forget about preprocess and .info files - and all the other sexy hot ways we normally adds out javascript in.
Just open the page.tpl and smack it right into you head:
<head>
<title><?php print $head_title; ?></title>
<?php print $head; ?>
<?php print $styles; ?>
<?php print $scripts; ?>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://use.typekit.com/byx0hgt.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">try{Typekit.load();}catch(e){}</script>
</head>the übergeeks in drupal tells me that it will be possible in D7 to add external scripts , which isnt possible right now in Drupal6, so until then this is the Quick & easy way to do it.
and now its time to thrash up you pages, with a ton of fonts :)
... am i the only one whos kinda frightend that the web will look like myspace the next couple of months ;)
go and plea for an account here : http://typekit.com
... and yes i will experiment the next couple of days on this site, so if looks even worse tomorrow you will know why ;)

I agree...
about the myspace thing but I'm also pretty sure that we're going to see some amazing typography over the next few months. Overall I'm pretty excited, or, how do you say it - "Typekit fucking rocks!"
Do the headers on this theme
Do the headers on this theme use typekit? Either way, that font goes perfectly!
I can't wait to try it out. Thanks for the help with getting an invite!

Cufon?
Have you had a chance to play with Cufon much? I've been using it for some time now and absolutely love it. I've read a little about Typekit so was wondering if you have had a chance to play with Cufon and how it stacks up to Typekit. Both seem quite impressive.
Well
Apparently it doesn't work in FireFox on Ubuntu, for some reason. And the headlines were fuxxored on the Android browser...
Needs some work.
its actually looks like shit right now
which isnt so good -:( i even bought an account and everything :(
gonna figure out wtf is wrong - maybe its all the invites thats crapping their system down
Details?
Hi, mortendk. This is Greg from the Typekit team. Sorry for the trouble. Can you specify the problem you're seeing? Is it a problem on this site (morten.dk)? In which browser/os are you seeing the problem? Any chance you could grab a screenshot of the issue?
If you want, you can also contact us directly via email at support@typekit.com or via Get Satisfaction at http://getsatisfaction.com/typekit/
Thanks for the feedback, and for the blog post. We appreciate it!

Browser Support
Hi, Xen. This is Greg from the Typekit team. We're aware that Typekit fonts don't currently work in Firefox/Linux or in the Android browser. We're working on adding support for these very soon.
We've started a Typekit Browser Support thread over at getsatisfaction.com, and we'll announce improvements to our browser support there:

Thanks so much for the feedback!
